I’m Erin, a Charlotte-based natural light photographer who founded Erin Elizabeth Photography in 2014. Raised in Cary, NC, I studied Business and Conflict Management at UNC-Chapel Hill while playing Division I volleyball for the Tar Heels. Those years shaped my work ethic, sense of balance, and ability to connect with others. Today, I split my time between photography and commercial banking in uptown Charlotte, blending structure with creativity in a way that fuels my passion for both. My approach to portrait photography is thoughtful, professional, and deeply personal. I’m inspired by the families, couples, and graduates I work with, and I strive to capture their authentic stories with care.
My work is a reflection of a life shaped by faith, sports, and meaningful connections. I’ve learned to be intentional, present, and attuned to the beauty of real moments. I moved to Charlotte after playing volleyball through high school and college, majoring in business at UNC, and growing my portrait photography business along the way.
2022 /
My brother graduated high school and became my first official subject. soon after, others started reaching out for sessions of their own.
2014 /
while healing from a sports concussion, I got antsy so i picked up that camera and started learning everything I could.
